What is FitSteps?

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dance stars Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite have teamed up with six time world champion swimmer Mark Foster, to produce a unique dance and fitness programme – ‘FitSteps’.

FitSteps® is the first dance fusion of its kind which blends the elegant movements of Ballroom and the up-tempo pace of Latin dances, with a series of tried and tested fitness methods into a simple, easy to follow class that works, tones and sculpts the whole body. Just one 45-minute session can burn up to a staggering 700 calories*! No partner or dance experience required and there is no step!

Amanda Mann, an accredited FitSteps Instructor is ready to take you to the floor.  Just bring yourself, water and some comfortable footwear (preferably trainers).  All clients are required to complete a brief screening form before participating in their first class.  Introductory offer to your first class FREE when you return and give it another go!  £5.00 thereafter (20% discount for concessions).  FitStepper Loyalty Card scheme in place.  Pay for nine FitSteps classes and get your tenth one for FREE!

Fitsteps for All Bodies, ‘FAB’, is a dance fitness workout designed for people who love to dance, want to keep fit, but for a variety of reasons, prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact and perhaps a slower pace. FAB combines old style dance genres such as the Bosa Nova & Foxtrot to the Flamenco & Argentinian tango.

The workout combines sway and swing roots, making it great fun to do whether young or simply young at heart. The dance steps are easier to follow enabling more participants to have fun getting fit while learning classic dances of the ages.
